This was the best breakfast I've had in my life. The steak is locally sourced. The bread used for the French toast is so fluffy and taste like heaven. It is good and taste like home. Will be coming back again.
I have been eating at Maggie's all the way back to the days when they were Park Pizza in St. Louis Park a long time ago. Love their pizza so much, but they have an enormous menu that covers all the bases. Great food at great prices. There's nothing fancy about the decor, in fact the tables and booths are well-worn from many years of service and could stand an upgrade, or you could consider it part of the charm.
Great traditional restaurant, love their breakfast offerings and selections. Excellent service with a smile, large selection of breakfasts, sandwiches and pizzas, and easy parking. There’s something here to keep everyone happy and coming back for more!
What a find! Like an old Perkins before they became so corporate. Food was great. Our party got eggs Benedict which has a pretty solid hollandaise, perfectly cooked eggs and the ham was delicious. Blueberry pancakes also delicious with whipped cream. Chili was reported as 'good, but not hot (temperature-wise)' and the cornbread was ok if a little dry. Commercial (open faced roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy) was pretty exceptional with a focus on the gravy that really made the whole meal... side of green beans with it was useless and very bland. Other food items were pretty good as well. Service was solid, place was pretty packed and 2 servers were perfect, you could tell well seasoned veterans and deserving of being such with the high quality of attention provided to our 7 person party. Restaurant was pretty clean despite the 'run down' ambience that was intentional and adorable. The bit of feedback is the fans in the bathroom are super dusty and gross, and there's no 'touchless' opportunities for the door. Otherwise very happy we found this place. Oh, and very reasonably priced on everything. Despite being in Wayzata, they aren't trying to gouge their customers which is a huge plus. We will be back, great job guys!
I got to Maggie's at 6:30, expecting it to be super busy and thinking I was going to have to wait a super long time to get a spot. When we got there, we got in and got a booth right away. The service was quick, and our waitress Ava was very nice and refilled my water very quickly. I got the breakfast burger, and it was delicious. The egg on it was perfectly cooked, and bacon was nice and crisp. It was a very cozy atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back in the near future!
If you want a throwback diner experience, then this is your place. It feels like a great hug from your childhood. Consistent food quality and service.
HOT FRESH FOOD!! The menu is never ending and the whole family should be able to find something they like! Staff are friendly and attentive! Bathrooms were clean and stocked! Restaurant was VERY CLEAN and the decor was nice! They're in a strip mall with many other stores, so that was a plus also!! We will DEFINITELY be back!!
Traditional breakfast place , simple with a Hallmark movie breakfast place vibe. They are quite busy over the weekend, but have quick service, your coffee mug is never empty, they take great care of it and make you feel welcome.
